Colors of the Wind

Colors are very visual and evoke the true feelings from a painting or picture. The main colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. An acronym to remember this order of the rainbow is ROYGBP. R-Starting with red, it can be represented as fire, heat and warmth. Red also means anger generally. Here in the United States religious organizations consider red as a symbol for prostitution and the devil which varies greatly from the commont thought that red is the color of deep devotion and love. O-The color orange is a power color, it is considered one of the healing colors. Orange generaly eveokes the feelings of enthusiasm and creativity. Some beleive that if you wear orange during time of stress it can help you balance your emotions. Y-Yellow is the color of wisdom and and it represents joy and happiness. Yellow brings energy like the warmth of a bright sunny day. People wear yellow to present a cherry uplifting effect. It is good luck to use yellow notepads. G-Green is usually assosciated with nature and fertility and life. Green means learning, growth, and harmony. Green jade is a sacred stone to asia. B-Blue is the coolest color, it is the color of the sky, ocean, twilight, and and sleep. All of these are very peaceful and and calm. Blue symbolizes the virgin mary. Blue gives a feeling of distance so painters use it to show perspective. P-Purple is the color of good judgment and it is the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment. purple has been used to symbolize magic, and mystery but also royalty. Now, all the colors have very different meanings in different countries.

    People of Wal-Mart?

The people of wal-mart is a terrible website. I feel this type of website is hurrendous. I can not put in words how much i hate these kind of websites. There is no person who could honestly look at this and think this is amusing. It is DISGUSTING. There is really no purpose to put picture of these kind of people up on the website. I think that widespread technology is making our society mean. It could be used positively but some people use it to mock other people. It is not the mocking of the people which bothers me. It is the part where people can look at this and find it funny, at the expense of someone is bad but it is even worse that our society has become so open about this. Behind the back talking is bad as well, I am not saying that is acceptable but openly posting it on a website in inexcusable. I think our global community could use this positively by sending people pictures of appropriate things. I think that camera phones could be used well by sending pictures to people who have been away from each other for awhile. It can be used to send pictures to show people where their friends are, for example, take a picture at a concert and send it to a friend and say wish you were here! That is how our society can use their phone cameras positively.

The World Wide Web is a very complex tool but it makes communicatyion so much easier. Most of the 20th century no one had easy quick communication like they do now a day. Once plans were made they had to stay made because you couldn't just call them on their cell phone and change the plans. Technology is a gift but at the same time it is a curse. It is beginning to take over the daily lifes of people which ultimately is making people very bad at face to face communication. Hopefully the interent will not take over the world some day!
